“We have been frequently briefing the police personnel in the field not to be tempted by monetary offerings made by those violating traffic rules and regulations as per the principle adopted by our organization,” said Janak Bhattarai, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), who is also the chief of the Division. He further added that 136 drivers and riders were earlier held and taken action for their attempt to bribe the traffic police personnel after breaching traffic rules.

According to Bhattarai, today’s felicitation program aims at promoting integrity and sense of responsibility among the traffic police personnel so that it may help enhance the image of the organization.
