Nepal adds 391 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hour

KATHMANDU, Oct 17: An additional 391 cases of COVID-19 have been reported across the country in the past 24 hours.



According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 385 out of 6,966 PCR tests and six out of 1,011 antigen tests were found positive to the virus in the given time. With this, the number of COVID-19 infections has tallied 898,399.

A total of 12,297 infected people are currently in isolation and 231 in quarantine, according to the MoHP.


Similarly, six persons succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours, taking the total death toll from the virus to 11,284. Likewise, 680 people were recovered from the virus on Sunday and the total recovery to date is 781,456.
