4 killed, 17 injured in Chitwan bus accident

CHITWAN, Aug 8: Four passengers were killed and another 17 injured in an accident at Chitwan at 11 PM yesterday night.

CHITWAN, Aug 8: Four passengers were killed and another 17 injured in an accident at Chitwan at 11 PM yesterday night.



The passenger bus (Na 6 Kha 1741) was heading to Kakarvitta from Kathmandu when it collided with a truck (Na 5 Kha 5941) at the Bhanu Chowk of Ratnanagar Municipality’s ward- 10, Chitwan.

The deceased have been identified as  truck driver Mohan Ghising (34)  and co-driver Buddhiman Lama (30) of Chapur, Rautahat and Bishnu Prasad Thapa (48) of Thankot, Kathmandu and Tara Baral (42) of Khumjing municipality-1.    


The injured are undergoing treatment at the Chitwan Medical College and Bharatpur Medical College.
