CHITWAN, Oct 19: Three persons died and 23 others were injured in a passenger bus accident in Chitwan on Friday.
The accident occurred when the bus (Na 5 Kha 4383) en route to Pokhara skidded off the road and plunged some 50 meters down at Jalbire in Icchakamana Rural Municipality in Chitwan.

One of the deceased has been identified as Udayaman Rajbanshi, 35, of Mechi municipality, Jhapa. Other two deceased are yet to be ascertained.
The injured are receiving treatment at Bharatpur Medical College and Chitwan Medical College informed the police.
