A musical event was organized in Bhakari Bhansa Ghar and Bar to mark the formal opening of the eatery at Maharajgunj, this Friday. On the occasion, musicians Harish Mathema, Sanjay Shrestha, Rabin Maharjan, Bhimsen Lama and alongside pop band Cantata helped create a jovial mood during the inauguration event by performing their hit numbers.
A Young Musician on the rise
The key attendees of the event consisted of iconic members of the Nepali music fraternity, including Yogeshwor Amatya, Jems Pradhan, Jyoti Ghimire, Harish Mathema, Bhim Tuladhar, Suman Shrestha, Nirmal Sharma, Sahendra Shrestha, Prabhat Rimal and Nikita Acharya.
Speaking about the services that guests can expect from the restaurant, co-owner Rabin Maharjan shared, “We specialize in Nepali, continental and Indian food. We’re also looking to establish the restaurant as a coffee junction for youths and office employees. Also, addressing the demand of the public, we will be organizing musical events every Friday evening. In addition, we’ll also be bringing iconic musicians or bands to perform in our vicinity at the end of every month.”
