KATHMANDU, April 29: Police in Siraha on Friday have recovered the dead body of a two year old child, who was abducted a few days ago.
The deceased child is Raman Yadav of Khoriya at Naraha Rural Municipality-3. An unidentified group had abducted Raman on Wednesday from his own house.

According to DSP Gajushiddhi Bajracharya at Area Police Office in Mirchaiya, the police found the body buried in a ditch near his own house during a search operation on Friday night. According to DSP Bajracharya, it is found that the child was murdered using a knife and then buried on the ditch.
Police have detained a local and started investigation. DSP Bajracharya said that it seemed that someone murdered the child to take revenge with his parents for some reasons.
"We have started investigation, we are hopeful that we can make the murderer public very soon," said DSP Bajracharya.
