Birtamod Bazar closed in protest of gold dealer's murder

BANIYANI, Jhapa, March 13: Gold and silver dealers in Jhapa today shutdown the local Birtamod Bazar in protest of against the killing of their colleague Sajan Mukhiya.

BANIYANI, Jhapa, March 13: Gold and silver dealers in Jhapa today shutdown the local Birtamod Bazar in protest of against the killing of their colleague Sajan Mukhiya. 



Mukhia who had been missing since March 4 was found dead on Monday. His body was found at Kolbung of Rong Rural Municipality-3 in neighbouring district Ilam.

Police have arrested three people on the suspicion of their hand in the murder. The Area Police Office, Birtamod said the identities of suspects will be made public only after the completion of investigations into the case.
