KATHMANDU, Feb 9: Police on Saturday found a dead body of a girl on the bank of Hanumante River in Suryabinayak Municiaplity-5, Radhe Radhe. Police claimed that the deceased child must be around nine years old.
The District Police Office (DPO), Bhaktapur informed Republica that the body was found at around 11:30 am on Saturday.

The DPO, Bhaktapur is yet to ascertain the identity of the dead child and the cause of death.
“Since the face of the child has been heavily damaged, she is beyond recognition,” spokesperson of the DPO, Bhaktapur, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rewati Raman Pokhrel said, adding, “We have sent the body for post mortem.”
