Bureaucracy is not supportive of government: Advisor Rimal (with full interview)

KATHMANDU, Dec 12: Chief Advisor to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Bishnu Rimal has accused Nepali bureaucracy of not being supportive of the government in implementing the plans and policies.  



Speaking with Shree Ram Paudel for the program Frontline on Wednesday, Rimal defended the plans and policies formulated by the government and criticized the bureaucracy for creating hurdles in implementing them. He added that the bureaucracy of Nepal has become inefficient in the last 20 years.

In another context, Rimal defended the government’s actions in controlling the media and said that it is trying to manage the media sector.
