ILAM, Oct 8: As many as 3,553 people of the district were informed of the violence against women and children and its consequences in a month long campaign against rape and sexual violence.
The awareness raising campaign was conducted in 21 schools of the district from September 6 to October 7 this year.

The campaign was organized under the aegis of different 20 organizations active in the district including District Administration Office and District Police Office.
Campaign Coordinator Prakash Pariyar informed that the campaign concluded on October 7 (Sunday) underlined the need to make society and guardians aware and educate girl children to keep them safe.
