KATHMANDU, Dec 12: Civil Bank Ltd has signed an agreement with Surya Life Insurance Limited to sell the life insurer's insurance policies. Civil Bank CEO Govinda Gurung and CEO of Surya Life Shiva Nath Pandey signed the agreement on behalf of their respective companies, according to a statement issued by the bank.

According to the agreement, Civil Bank customers can now avail life insurance policies and hassle-free Bancassurance services through its 70 branches across the country. The bank has also been offering life insurance and non-life insurance products of other insurers to its customers through similar agreements, according to the statement.
