KATHMANDU, May 7: Shangrila Development Bank Ltd and Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) Nepal have entered into bancassurance agreement to provide the latter's insurance products to clients of the development bank.

Following the agreement, customers of the development bank can now avail all insurance services from Shangrila's 40 branch offices. The agreement was signed by Rajendra Poudel, CEO of Shangrila Development Bank, and Abhijit Ghosh Dastidar, officiating CEO of LIC Nepal, signed the agreement, according to a statement issued on Friday.
