RAUTAHAT, Jan 5: Two people have died due to biting cold in the district on Friday.
The deceased have been identified as 75-year-old Ayodhee Raya Yadav of Rajdevi Municipality-7, Madbalawa and Nek Mahammad Ali, 55, a labor of brick factory based in Gadhimai Municipality-1, Samanpur.Ali originally hails from Ram Ban, Sarlahi.

With this, the death toll due to cold has reached three in Rautahat district.
Earlier, Maharjan Thakur Hajam of Gadhimai Municipality-4, Sundarpur had succumbed to harsh cold last week.
