KAPILVASTU, Oct 3: The dead body of Madhav Belwase, 55, son of Rukmagat Belwase of Banganga-7 Motipur has been found near Laxmanghat Bridge in Banganga Municipality of Kapilvastu.
“The body of Belwase was found under a culvert near Laxmanghat Bridge on the way to Laxmanghat from Koili Bangai,” said Police Inspector Nidesh Gurung at Area Police Office, Pipara. Police suspect that Belwase might have died after falling from the culvert.

According to his family, he was a pension holder of the Indian Army. He is learnt to have consumed alcohol on the day he went missing. The body has been taken for postmortem in Taulihawa and further investigation is currently underway, according to police.
