Dhankuta: Politburo member Bhandari among those leaving Maoist Center

KATHMANDU, Sept 25: CPN (Maoist Center)'s Politburo member and former lawmaker Hemraj Bhandari along with officials and members of Dhankuta Party District Coordination Committee has resigned from the party.

KATHMANDU, Sept 25: CPN (Maoist Center)'s Politburo member and former lawmaker Hemraj Bhandari along with officials and members of Dhankuta Party District Coordination Committee has resigned from the party.



Bhandari has also announced that he will contest the elections independently from Dhankuta. Dilliram Rai (Kamal) issued a statement by the party’s district coordination committee and mentioned that everyone has resigned after holding a meeting of the District Coordination Committee.

He said that he had resigned from the party on September 14 and informed the district office on Saturday. Bhandari won the election from Dhankuta in the first Constituent Assembly election of 2064 BS.
