KATHMANDU, Sept 27: US Embassy in Kathmandu has announced the opening of Diversity Visa for 2020 beginning from October 3.
According to a press statement issued by the Embassy on Wednesday, the program closes at noon of November 6. “We strongly encourage DV program entrants to apply early,” said the statement. The applicants can apply online at www.dvlottery.state.gov during the registration program.

The embassy has cautioned applicants against using consultant to assist them with their application and asked to take help from a family member, a friend and other trusted person in case they need assistance.
“Even if you are selected as a DV winner, this does not guarantee that you will receive a visa."
