KATHMANDU, Nov 29: Laxmi Bank has announced it will organize the Laxmi Bank Open Golf that will be played at the fifth Gokarna Golf Club on Saturday. The bank started sponsorship of this event in 2014 and has been hosting it annually.
The event has become a popular affair among the amateur golfing fraternity.
Shah wins Laxmi Bank Open Golf Tournament
This tournament will be played over 18 holes on a stableford format with a 3/4 handicap allowance. More than 100 golfers including men, women, seniors age 60 and above and juniors age 17 and under will vie for the trophy in various category.
The winner and runner-up of men’s category, best gross, the winner of women’s and senior (age 60 and above) category, the senior runner-up, the winner in guest category, the winner in junior category, the longest drive, the closest to the pin and the most birdies will be awarded.
Also, the golfer who achieves to make a hole-in-one will win the Hyundai IONIQ car.
