Five dead in landslides-related incidents in Gulmi

TAMGHAS, July 26: Five people lost their lives to landslides-related incidents in Gulmi in the past 24 hours.

TAMGHAS, July 26: Five people lost their lives to landslides-related incidents in Gulmi in the past 24 hours. 



Three of a same family were buried to death in a landslide occurred at Hastichaur VDC last night. The deceased have been identified as Kakila Darjee, 62, Tulasi Darjee, 49 and Asmita Darjee, 19.

Similarly, Gopal Rana of Bisukharka VDC-9 lost his two children-- eight-year-old son Sujan and six-year-old daughter Simana-- in a landslide, the District Police Office confirmed the tragic incidents. 

One Bishnu Saru of the same locality has been injured in the incident.


The continuous landslide in the village has terrorised normal life. People have started moving to safer places. RSS
