NAWALPARASI, June 27: Four people were arrested by Police in Eastern Nawalparai for possessing a large quantity of narcotics. All four arrestees were made public on Tuesday along with the banned drug in the district.
The police said that two buyers and two purchasers of the narcotics were arrested from Phulbari Chowk at Chormara in Madhyabindu Municipality-8.
Two held with 25 kgs of Marijuana
Those arrested are Ajit Chaudhary, 27, and Nitesh Singh Chaudhary, 21, of West Nawalparasi while Sumit Poudel, 29, and Balram Mahato, 32, of Eastern Nawalparasi.
Deputy Superintendent of Police of Nawalpur Laldhowj Subedi said that the police seized a large amount of phenagan, nuphorin and diazepam from the four racketeers. Furthermore, police seized six mobile phones, two motorbikes and cash amount as well, it is said.
