UDAYAPUR, May 30: Four people, including a driver, were killed in a truck accident on Siddhicharan Highway in Udayapur district on Monday morning.
The truck (Na 8 Kha 8297) carrying cement from Pathalaiya to Solukhumbu for Solu Hydropower met with an accident at Bhadaure in Katari Municipality-14, where all of them died on the spot.

According to the Area Police Office Katari, the deceased have been identified as driver Sudip Ghalan, 33, of Simra Sub-Metropolitan City 1, Bara, co-driver Nikesh Khadka, 25, Anuj Lama, 17, and Rajan Tamang, 37, of the same place.
The truck had fallen about 100 meters below the road after the driver lost control of the vehicle while taking a turn at the Mirchaiya-Katari section of the highway. Chief of the Area Police Office, DSP Man Bahadur Rai said that further investigation is currently underway.
