KATHMANDU, May 5: Targeting to promote Nepali cuisine in the international market, Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) has announced to unveil a cook book and video of 30 different items of Nepali traditional food. The unveiling program has been scheduled for May 7.

HAN is organizing this event under its Globalizing Nepal Heritage Cuisine campaign. The 30 dishes have been selected among 200 different traditional dishes of the country. The selected dishes have also got approval from Department of Food Technology and Quality Control. According to HAN, the cook book and video will be unveiled under the 'Experience Nepal: Cuisine & Culture' program of Nepal Tourism Board (NTB).
HAN has expected that the cook book and the video will be beneficial to the restaurants serving Nepali cuisine both in Nepal and elsewhere. The campaign has been carried out jointly by Nepal Tourism Board, Hotel Association Nepal, Chef Association of Nepal, and Restaurant and Bar Association of Nepal.
