Karki receives court’s notice

KATHMANDU, Nov 10:  Suspended Chief at the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Lokman Singh Karki on Thursday himself received the Supreme Court (SC) notice to him to be present before the court within seven days.

KATHMANDU, Nov 10:  Suspended Chief at the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Lokman Singh Karki on Thursday himself received the Supreme Court (SC) notice to him to be present before the court within seven days.

A single bench of Justice Ananda Mohan Bhattarai on Tuesday had ordered Karki to be present before the court in person within seven days with a clarification on why he obstructed the process of delivering the court’s notice.


 Advocate Om Prasad Aryal had moved the apex court demanding an action against Karki, his son-in-law Prabal Thapa and others for obstructing the process of serving the court’s notice.
