TAPLEJUNG, June 21: A man allegedly killed his spouse by hitting her with a piece of firewood at Sirijunga rural municipality-3 in Taplejung.
Laxman Chamling of Sikaicha has been arrested for allegedly attacking his spouse Nisha Rai, 31, with a piece of firewood and killing her on Tuesday evening, according to the District Police Office, Taplejung.

The husband, who came home intoxicated, started quarreling with his spouse unnecessarily and attacked her in the course of verbal altercation, leaving her dead on the spot.
