BANEPA , July 23: Fifty seven year motorcyclist Jit Bahadur Tamang of Namobudhha-4, Khanalthok passed away while undergoing treatment at Shir Memorial Hospital, Banepa. Tamang was riding his motorcylcle (Ba 83 Pa 5077) when a truck ( Ba 2 Kha 3934) hit him from behind at Chardobato, Banepa. The truck was en route to Dhulikhel from Kathmandu.

Following the incident, residents torched the truck, thereby leading to a tensed situation.
According to District Police Office, Nuwakot, the truck's driver, Sudhan Shrestha, 29 of Nuwakot municipality-1 has been arrested.
