Responding to queries of lawmakers in this connection at the meeting of the International Relations Committee of the House of the Representatives (HoR) on Monday, leader Nepal clarified that he was a communist leader and thereby had no relation with any religion despite being born in Hindu religion and culture. "I treat all religions equally”, he said.

The former Prime Minister also said that the summit was effective to promote the country in the international arena.

According to Nepal, former leaders BP Koirala, Girija Prasad Koirala, Ganesh Man Singh, Sushil Koirala and Sher Bahadur Deuba had also attended such programs in the past.
