NSPN candidate Pode elected ward member unopposed

KATHMANDU, May 5: Bina Kumari Pode, candidate of Naya Shakti Party Nepal, has been elected ward member in Lalitpur Metropolitan City (LMC), unopposed.

KATHMANDU, May 5: Bina Kumari Pode, candidate of Naya Shakti Party Nepal, has been elected unopposed as a ward member in Lalitpur Metropolitan City (LMC).



Pode was elected as a ward member of Lalitpur Metropolitan City-1. She had registered her nomination from Dalit women category from LMC on Tuesday.


The Office of the Returning Officer, Lalitpur informed that Pode has been elected unopposed as the ward member of Lalitpur Metropolitan City-1 in line with the Section 25 of Local-Level Election Act 2073 BS.

With this win, NSPN has won two seats in the local-level elections. 


Earlier, Shreemaya BK was elected unopposed as ward member of Parwatikunda Rural Municipality-2, Rasuwa from the NSPN.
