The notice has paved a way for holding an election to elect a new House Speaker. As per the instruction from Deputy Speaker Shivamaya Tumbahamphe, the notice has been published in line with the House Regulations 2075.


Speaker Mahara stepped down from his post on Tuesday, a day after a female employee at the Federal Parliament Secretariat accused him of sexually harassing her.
