Parliament Secretariat registers notice tabled by Dahal-Nepal faction

KATHMANDU, March 7: The federal Parliament Secretariat has registered a notice tabled by the Dahal-Nepal faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party that Pushpa Kamal Dahal was recently elected the parliamentary party leader ousting KP Sharma Oli from the post.

KATHMANDU, March 7: The federal Parliament Secretariat has registered a notice tabled by the Dahal-Nepal faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party that Pushpa Kamal Dahal was recently elected the parliamentary party leader ousting KP Sharma Oli from the post.



Leaders belonging to the faction led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Madhav Kumar Nepal reached the secretariat to notify the latter about the recent reshuffle in the parliamentary party.

However, earlier this afternoon, the secretariat, refused to register the letter, according to Ram Kumari Jhakri, a parliamentarian close to the faction. 


The secretariat said that it would take a necessary decision after holding necessary consultations with the parties concerned.


Following consultation, Parliament Secretariat registered the notice tabled by the Dahal-Nepal faction of the NCP.
