However, Bamjan is still at large. Sindhuli police said that the raid was part of investigations into alleged activities in the ashram. When the police reached the ashram, some of the Buddha Boy’s helping hands were around. Police arrested one disciple of Bamjan.

The CIB of Nepal Police started investigating Bamjan following news reports that five of his followers had disappeared from his ashrams. Three of them had allegedly disappeared from the Bandegaun ashram in Lalitpur. The CIB even suspects that one of the disappeared was murdered in the ashram.
