Prices of PCR test revised to Rs 800 in govt hospitals, 1,500 in private hospitals

KATHMANDU, Jan 19: The government of Nepal has revised the price of PCR test for COVID-19 to Rs 800 per individual at government hospitals and laboratories. Prior to this, the price of a PCR test was Rs 1,000.

KATHMANDU, Jan 19: The government of Nepal has revised the price of PCR test for COVID-19 to Rs 800 per individual at government hospitals and laboratories. Prior to this, the price of a PCR test was Rs 1,000. 



Similarly, the price of testing has been revised to Rs 1,500 at private hospitals. The price was Rs 2,000 per individual before this.

Meanwhile, the government has decided to conduct PCR tests for patients at government hospitals free of cost.
