Public speaking and emcee training at DAV

Aiming for the holistic development of their students, DAV College recently completed a 14 days Public Speaking and Emcee Training for BBS 1st year students at their college premises in Jawalakhel. More than 50 students participated in an intensive training by media personality Malvika Subba.

Aiming for the holistic development of their students, DAV College recently completed a 14 days Public Speaking and Emcee Training for BBS 1st year students at their college premises in Jawalakhel. More than 50 students participated in an intensive training by media personality Malvika Subba.



The workshop is part of a series of Professional Development Programs at DAV. Participants sharpen their communication skills and boost their level of confidence in their presentation and public speaking ability through such programs, states the press release issued by DAV.

The grand finale for the training was held on Wednesday where the students were divided into groups of six and were assigned to re-enact different events- ranging from beauty pageants to product launch- as part of the finale. 


The competition formally started in the presence of the Chief Guest (Senior Media Personality, CEO of FACELIFT) Prabhat Rimal and Subba who were also the judges for the event. The participants were judged on the basis of speaking, pronunciation, body-language, confidence and group evaluation on the basis of team coordination.
