Public speaking and emcee training concluded

KATHMANDU, March 3: A training workshop on public speaking and emcee training was organized for 18 days with the participation of 64 undergraduate students of DAV college under the supervision of former Miss Nepal Malvika Subba.

KATHMANDU, March 3: A training workshop on public speaking and emcee training was organized for 18 days with the participation of 64 undergraduate students of DAV college under the supervision of former Miss Nepal Malvika Subba. The workshop was based on the dramatic, measurable improvements in communication skills, on both individual and team levels.



Apart from the real rewards of boosted self-confidence, students received various awards. Award categories included- best vlog titled to Kesang Rana, best evaluation titled to Bibek Maharjan and Silviya Thapa, and best News broadcast titled to Ningwa Shama Rai.

Based on individual accomplishment, the winners were Yojana Dhakal and Ningwa Shama Rai, first runner-ups were Anisha Bohara and Anurag Shrestha, and Second runners up were Nimisha Shakya and Sahara Gartaula.


With learning experience facilitation, the grand finale for the workshop was held on February 26. Students were divided into small groups and tailored to re-enact different events such as product launch, award-show, books and movie promotion and so on.


The finale began with a formal session by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of FACELIFT Prabhat Rimal, Editor of Republica Daily Subhash Ghimire, and trainer Malvika Subba.
