KATHMANDU, Jan 1: Minister for Home Affairs, Ram Bahadur Thapa has said that regressive forces caused a division in the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP).

Addressing a cadres' meet of the NCP in Lalitpur on Friday, he argued that the regressive forces were making a strategy to invite instability in the country. "It seems they have closely studied the weaknesses of the NCP. We will stand against that as we face the challenge to ensure stability and good governance in the country," he said.
