Recently the rumours of Salman Khan and director Rohit Shetty teaming up for a project were doing rounds, and if reports are to be believed, it’s not a romour any more. Salman Khan during the promotions of ‘Bharat’ said that he and Rohit are in talks for a project and as soon as things will get materialised, the media will know.

What has added more buzz to the news is a word by a source, who reportedly has mentioned that after 1 year of relentlessly working on the script of ‘Kick 2’ Sajid Nadiadwala has finaly fine- tuned the same and it's almost locked. The movie will be bringing Salman Khan back with Jacqueline Fernandez silver screen, and director Rohit Shetty has been approached for helming the same by the producer and the lead actor. The source also added that Sajid who is extremely fond of Rohit has discussed the whole idea with him.
According to the source, since Rohit Shetty is master at directing action scenes and car chase sequences, he will be the perfect fit for helming the sequel, which will be high on both of these elements. Also, the team up of Rohit and Salman will add to the star value.
