KATHMANDU, April 1: Summit Hotel and Open Space Network jointly organized ‘Summit Woman of the Year 2021’ to recognize and honor businesswomen below the age of 30.
The Summit Woman of the Year recognition was given to Arunima Shrestha and Urusha Shrestha - two sisters running Trittofritto foods, a food processing startup company for local agricultural products. The winners received a cash prize of Rs 100,000 as recognition.

Issuing a statement, the organization said that the program intended to honor women with a sound business plan prepared following all legal implications and at the same time making a social impact with a strong growth and sustainability plan.
"The objective of rewarding such young business women is to inspire the young generation of women to lead the business with creative ideas, challenging all the hurdles and status quo prevailing in the patriarchal society of Nepal,” the statement read.
There were a total of 160 applicants from six provinces, 18 cities, from which top 26 were shortlisted and among them top 5 were selected as finalists.
