KATHMANDU, July 10: David Howes, the Deputy Head of Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) at Standard Chartered Group, is in Kathmandu.

Howes is scheduled to meet officials of regulators and financial crime investigating authorities in Nepal, according to a statement issued on Sunday by Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd.


Howes will also attend the internal meetings of the bank and conduct briefings for the bank's staffers. He is visiting Nepal before SCB Group's Correspondent Banking Academy Country Workshop being held in Kathmandu on July 28.
