KALIKOT, Nov 29: Three persons were killed, and six others injured when a Bolero jeep met with an accident at Khandachakra Municipality-1 in the district today morning.
The deceased have been identified as Jayarup Bumi, 45, of Bhie-7 in Mugu, Nara Bikram Malla, 46, of Srinagar-3 and Yaduraj Neupane of Chandranath-14 in Jumla. The injured including the driver Yandra Prasad Tharu are receiving treatment at the District Hospital, the police said.
A total of nine people were onboard the vehicle (Lu 2 Cha 2003) that was headed to Surkhet from Mugu when the accident occurred.
The cause of the accident is yet to be known.
