CHITWAN, Sept 12: A truck heading towards Kathmandu from Narayangadh has plunged into the Trishuli river yesterday.

Ujjawal Kandel, 30, of Makawanpur was injured in the incident. The truck (Na 5 Kha 7297) fell into the river at Jalbire of Ichchhakamana rural municipality-6, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.
Kandel is the truck driver and he is receiving treatment at a local medical. Deputy Superintendent of Police, Shiva Sharma Acharya, said the truck driver saved his life jumping out of the truck(RSS).
