Two school girls killed in tipper truck-hit

KATHMANDU, March 30: Two school girls were killed when a tipper knocked them down at Melamchichowk of Sundarijal in Gokarneshwor Municipality in Kathmandu Wednesday morning.

KATHMANDU, March 30: Two school girls were killed when a tipper knocked them down at Melamchichowk of Sundarijal in Gokarneshwor Municipality in Kathmandu Wednesday morning. 



The deceased have been identified as Shristi Ghising and Shreeya Ghising, daughters of Rohan Ghising.

According to Police Circle, Bauddha, the accident took place when the tipper (Ba 4 Cha 6965) hit a motorcycle that Ghising and his two daughters were riding. 


The girls who were on the way to their school in the locality died on the spot in the accident that occurred at around 8:30AM, police said. Rider Ghising, who was critically hurt in the accident, is being treated at Nepal Medical College at Attarkhel. 


Injured rider Ghising accused the tipper driver of putting the vehicle in reverse gear and running over his daughters.
