BIRENDRANAGAR, Sept 29: The discussion on the economic and political reports is currently underway at the CPN-UML's Karnali Province convention.
The closed session, which commenced on Thursday night, saw the presentation of these reports by Tekraj Prasai for the economic report and Binod Kumar Shah for the political report. The election process has not yet commenced as discussions within the closed session are still ongoing.

In case an agreement cannot be reached during the party's first Karnali Province convention on Wednesday, it is anticipated that elections will be held on Saturday. Names such as Gulab Jung Shah, Min Bahadur Shahi, and Raj Bahadur Shahi are being deliberated for the chairmanship position.
