UML organizes walkathon on the eve of Constitution Day

KATHMANDU, Sept 17: CPN-UML organized a walkathon in the capital today on the eve of Constitution Day. UML leaders and cadres walked past from various places in the capital before converging at Basantpur.

KATHMANDU, Sept 17: CPN-UML organized a walkathon in the capital today on the eve of Constitution Day. UML leaders and cadres walked past from various places in the capital before converging at Basantpur. 



Processions were taken out from Baneshwar, Maitidevi, Lainchour, Kalimati and Kupandol. UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, Senior Vice Chairman Ishwar Pokharel, General Secretary Shankar Pokharel and other top leaders joined the walkathon.

Leaders and workers carried Nepal's national flags during the foot march. Deputy Chief of UML Publicity Department Bishnu Rijal said that the walkathon was organized to protect the Constitution promulgated through the Constituent Assembly.
