Libang, Nov 24: A woman, who is serving time at the District Prison Rolpa, on the charge of murdering her seven-year-old daughter, gave birth to a baby girl on Wednesday.
Dhana Budathoki,29, a resident of Khumel-5 in Rolpa gave birth to girl in the prison itself, according to Sub-inspector of Police Kul Bahadur Rawat. Budathoki is currently remanded to judicial custody on the charge of beating her daughter to death two month ago on the day of Tika of last Dashain festival.

Both the mother and the new born are in normal condition. "We have been providing all essentials including nutritious food and warm clothes," Jailer Pradip Kumar Regmi said.
