MAHOTTARI, Aug 27: The dead body of the seven months old stolen baby girl has been recovered on Monday. The seven months old infant named as Sonali, daughter of Santosh Chaudhary of Aurahi Municipality-1 was stolen by an unidentified person on Sunday evening from her father’s fancy shop.
According to SP Ishwar Karki of Mahottari District Police Office, the body of the infant was found in the field near the pond in the same ward.

According to the family, she was stolen at a time when her mother was busy with the customer in the shop. The incident has been captured by the CCTV camera and police are searching for the person behind the incident.
The reason for the death would be known only after the post-mortem report, informed SP Karki.
