KATHMANDU, Nov 10: Vice-Chairman of CPN-UML Bhim Rawal has announced his candidacy for the post of the party’s chairman in the upcoming 10th General Convention of CPN-UML. Speaking at a program organized on Tuesday, Rawal said that he will compete in the party’s upcoming election for the post of chairman.

Rawal also stressed on the need to strengthen the CPN-UML and its unity through the party’s upcoming general convention. “I had consulted with the party members regarding the position I should run for in the party. They have suggested to me to run for the post of the party’s chairman,” he said.
He said that he will not let the voices of the party’s members be silenced. Stating that he respects the feelings of the party members, Rawal announced his candidacy for the post of party chairman.
