Teku Hospital stops conducting PCR tests until further notice

KATHMANDU, May 11: Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital at Teku in Kathmandu has stopped conducting Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests from Tuesday.

KATHMANDU, May 11: Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital at Teku in Kathmandu has stopped conducting Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests from Tuesday.

The hospital has, however, not mentioned any clear reason for suspending the service. “PCR tests will not be conducted at the hospital until the next notice due to some specific reasons,” reads a notice issued by the hospital.


Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital is one of the key hospitals in Nepal providing the vital COVID-19 related services during this ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
